COVID-19 vaktsiinide tarneahela kitsaskohad Eestis

Antud uurimistöö eesmärgiks oli uurida: ● Kuidas on Eestis organiseeritud COVID-19 vaktsiinide hoiustamine ja laialivedu? ● Millised on COVID-19 vaktsiinide tarneahela kitsaskohad? ● Milliste säilitamistingimustega vaktsiinide tarneahel on kõige efektiivsem? Teooria osas on kirjeldatud erinevate vaktsiinide tarneahelate toimimist ja võrreldud neid COVID-19 vaktsiinide tarneahelaga. Uurimistöö teoreetilises pooles on veel uuritud vaktsiinide tarneahelate toimimise olulisust, vaktsiinide säilitamisega ja vedamisega seotud tehnoloogiaid. Võrreldud on ka Eestis kasutusel olevate erinevate vaktsiinide veo- ja säilitustingimusi, lisaks on analüüsitud Eesti-sisese logistika eripära ja WHO poolt väljastatud juhendeid COVID-19 vaktsiinide tarneahela juhtimiseks. Empiirilise osa uurimuses viidi läbi süvaintervjuudega kogutud materjali kvalitatiivne sisuanalüüs. Intervjuude käigus prooviti vastuseid saada püstitatud uurimisküsimustele.

The title of this graduation thesis is „Difficulties delivering COVID-19 vaccines in Estonia“. The hypothesis of the study is that there are difficulties delivering COVID-19 vaccines in Estonia. The aim of this graduation thesis is to investigate how the logistics of COVID-19 vaccines is organized and which are the difficulties delivering COVID-19 vaccines in Estonia, and also offer solutions to minimize problems regarding the logistics of these vaccines. In the theoretical part of this thesis author analyzes the most common supply chains of different vaccines and compares them to the supply chains of COVID- 19 vaccines, author also analyzes manuals given out by WHO regarding managing the supply chains of COVID-19 vaccines. Author also describes the storage conditions of the COVID-19 vaccines that are used in Estonia and defines the peculiarities of logistics in Estonia. In the empirical part of the thesis author performed a qualitative analysis of material collected as part of in-depth interviews. There were two interviews conducted – one with representative of the Estonian Health Board and one with a representative of a health center.
