Kreosoodiga immutatud mastidele alternatiivi leidmine Eestis

| dc.description.abstract | Lõputöö eesmärgiks oli leida kreosoodiga immutatud masti asemel alternatiiv lahendus Eestis. Antud eesmärk sai edukalt täidetud kuna otsitud alternatiividest kõige soodsamaks jäi Tanalith immutusega mast Polesaver kaitsega mis on erineval perspektiivsel elueal keskmiselt vaid (4%) kallim kreosoodist ja (30%) soodsam kui Tanalith immutusega mast. Antud lõputööst saab teha järelduse, et kasutusel olevad Tanalith immutusega mastid on (16%) soodsamad kui kreosoot immutusega mastid, kuid lühema eluea tõttu on Tanalith immutusega mastid elukaare kogumaksumuses keskmiselt (36%) kallimad. Antud näite puhul on hästi näha, et mastide puhul ei ole õige vaadata ainult ostuhinda vaid on tähtis vaadata pilti tervikunna arvestades eluiga, ostu-, paigalduse- ja asenduse hinna. Lõputöö kirjutamise ajal oli välja selgitatud, et puidu hindamise meetod, mida kasutab Elektrilevi OÜ saaks uuendada ja muuta kaasaegsemaks see tooks täpsemaid andmeid puit mastide seisukorrast. Uue meetodile üleminekuga saaks vältida vaaraku mastide asenduse millega säästa raha ning oleks võimalik tuvastada õigeaegselt kriitilises olukorras olevaid maste mis vähendaks rikete arvu. Juba praegu on mõistlik planeerida üleminek Tanalith immutuse koos Polesaver kaitse mastidele kuna kreosoodi keeld on ilmtingimata tulemas. Tanalith immutusega mast Polesaver kaitsega on (30%) soodsam pikema eluea perioodil kui tänapäeval kasutatav Tanalith immutusega mast. Seetõttu on soovituslik juba kasutusele võtta Tanalith immutusega mast Polesaver kaitsega Tanalith immutusega mastide asemele. Kas kasutada veel kreosoodi kuni keeldu jõustumist või juba asendada ka Tanalith immutusega mast Polesaver kaitsega on laiem küsimus mis vajab ettevõtte sisest arutelu. Samuti on tähtis arvestada uute lahendustega ja hoida silma peal turul toimuvatel uuendustel nii Eestis kui ka maailmas. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the thesis was to find an alternative solution to the creosote impregnated utility poles in Estonia. This aim was successfully achieved because the most affordable of the alternatives was the Tanalith impregnated pole with Polesaver protection, which is on average only (4%) more expensive than creosote and (30%) cheaper than the Tanalith impregnated pole over different lifetimes. From this thesis, it can be concluded that the Tanalith impregnated poles in use are (16%) cheaper than creosote-impregnated poles, but due to their shorter lifespan, the Tanalith impregnated poles are on average (36%) more expensive over different prospective lifetimes. In this case, it becomes clear that it is not correct to look only at the purchase price, but it is important to look at the whole picture, considering the lifespan, purchase, installation and replacement costs. During the writing of the thesis, it was found that the wood evaluation method used by Elektrilevi OÜ could be updated and be more contemporary, which would provide more accurate data on the condition of the wood poles. By switching to the new method, it would be possible to avoid replacing the earlier poles, which would save money, and it would be possible to identify poles in a critical situation on time, which would reduce the number of failures. It is already reasonable to plan the transition to using Tanalith impregnated poles with Polesaver protection, since the ban on creosote is inevitably coming. Tanalith impregnated poles with Polesaver protection are (30%) more affordable over a longer life period than the Tanalith impregnated poles used today. Therefore, it is advisable to already use Tanalith impregnated poles with Polesaver protection instead of Tanalith impregnated poles. Whether to continue using creosote until the ban comes into force or to already replace Tanalith impregnated poles with Polesaver protection is a broader question that requires internal discussion within the company. It is also important to consider new solutions and keep an eye on innovations taking place on the market, both in Estonia and around the world. | |
