Kokkuvõte

Antud lõputöö eesmärgiks on projekteerida ja ehitada mootor hobiautole ja saavutada võimsus 200kW, et võtta osa Pärnu Auto24 open track rajapäevast ja saavutada tulemuseks ringiaeg, mis jääks ajavahemikku 2 min-2,2min. Originaalseades tootis mootor võimsust 110kW ja pöördemoment oli 175Nm aga aja möödudes suutis mootor toota ainult 72,7kW, nagu selgus veojõustendis. Mootorist lisavõimsuse saavutamiseks sai valitud ülelaadimise variant, mis tähendab aga seda, et iga mootori süsteem vajab ümberprojekteerimist ja modifitseerimist. Töö käsitlebki iga sõlme ümberehitusi ja analüüse.


This diploma thesis at hand is about turbocharging the 4G63 engine to reach the engine power of 200kW. The main goal of this project is to build a hobby car to participate in a track day at Pärnu Auto24 track. The original naturally aspirated engine produces 110kW at 6750 rpm and 175nm of torque at 5500 rpm, but this was the case when the engine was new and had all of its kW, but time had reduced the power and the engine that I was modifying had only 72,7kW left in it. The reconstruction entails adding a turbocharger to the engine. However, adding a turbocharger requires modification to almost every part of the engine system. The easiest way to increase the power output of an engine is adding a turbocharger. The purpose of a turbocharger is to force more air into the combustion chamber and to increase volumetric efficiency. Due to the fact that more air is forced to the combustion chamber, it is essential that additionally more fuel is added as well. This extra pressure means that more pressure is applied to the piston. To avoid knock a lower compression ratio must be achieved, to do that I replaced the old pistons, which were with a compression ratio of 9.0, with new pistons with a compression ratio of 7.8. To increase the amount of fuel that is squirted into the combustion chamber the engine management system must be replaced with programmable unit, which is also needed to tune the ignition timing and sense the barometric pressure in the intake plenum.
