Kokkuvõte

Lõputöö raames optimeeriti Harju Elekter Elektrotehnika poolt toodetavat madalpingejaotusseadet, mida kasutatakse päikeseelektrijaamades. Neis jaamades on madalpingeseadmete puhul vaja arvestada maksimaalse koormatuse ja suurte temperatuuritõusudega, kuna päikeseelektrijaamades võivad päikesepaisteliste ilmadega kõik väljundfiidrid maksimaalselt koormatud olla. Optimeerimise peamine eesmärk oli toote omahinna langetamine. Lõputöö teemaks valiti „630 A nimivooluga päikeseelektrijaama madalpinge jaotusseadme optimeerimine“. Sellegipoolest terviku toote omahind langes 14,5%. Lõputöö tulemustele toetudes tehakse järgnevad ettepanekud: • proovida kasutada sisendi sektsioonis laiemat korpust, mis tagab parema jahutuse; • tõsta ventilaator teise sektsiooni küljelt esimese sektsiooni küljele, kuna esimeses sektsioonis saavutati kõrgemad temperatuurid; • lisada seadmele veel üks ventilatsiooniava, et parandada õhu liikumist; • viia läbi katsed proovides ka teiste tootjate võimsuslülititeid.

In the process of this thesis, a switchboard produced by Harju Elekter Elektrotehnika, which is intended for solar power plants, was optimized. In these powerplants, it is necessary to take into account the maximum load for low-voltage equipment, because in solar power plants, all output feeders can be maximally loaded in sunny weather. The main goal of the optimization was to lower the price of the product. The topic of the thesis is „Optimization of a 630 A rated low voltage switchboard intended for a solar power plant“. As the use of solar energy for electricity production is very actual these days, even in Estonia, it was decided to optimize a switchboard intended for solar power plants. An initial hypothesis was made that the production cost of the device can be reduced by at least 10% while it also passes the temperature-rise tests. As a result of the thesis, the hypothesis was partially confirmed, as the production cost of the device with the new solution decreased by even more, 14,5%, whereas the tests did not fully succeed. The thesis highlights the growing proportion of solar energy as an energy source both globally and in Estonia. The operating principles of solar power plants and solar panels are presented, which provides more clarity about the role of the low voltage switchgear discussed in the thesis. A new solution was developed, finding cheaper and more standard alternatives to the existing solution. First, it was decided to use the cabinets from the HETR product line, which are much cheaper and simpler than cabinets from the HEKL product line. Then a low-cost and standard incoming terminal solution was chosen: Jean Müller cable lugs which will be placed on the busbars under each other. This solution also improved cooling of the cable lugs. The power dissipation of all components, busbars and incoming cables of the switchgear were then determined and heat calculations were performed with the Rittal Therm program to find out how high the internal temperature of the switchgear would rise. As the temperature in section 1 was calculated to be too high (78 °C), a decision was made in favor of forced cooling and a fan was installed on the side of the switchboard. Thermal tests were performed in the laboratory to test whether the temperature rises would stay within limits of the requirements. Two tests were performed: in the first test, the fan extracted warm air from the switchboard, in the second test, the fan blew cool air into the switchboard. Smaller temperature rises were achieved in the first test, but the circuit breaker housing and the L2 phase incoming terminal overheated slightly. The tests were generally considered to be successful, as the permissible temperature limits were not exceeded in a large extent and it is possible to reduce the temperature rise with small modifications. The assembly time of the existing solution and the new solution were compared. Assembly of the existing solution took 20 hours, but assembly of the new solution took 27 hours. The result was to be expected, as the new solution is unfamiliar to production workers and two cabinets were used instead of one. Finally, the production costs of the existing and the new solution were compared. The price of all components of the switchboard fell by 25,6%, which is a significant achievement. However, the assembly cost turned out to be more expensive, as it took longer to assemble the new solution. The cost of assembly increased by 25.9%. Nevertheless, the production cost of the product as a whole decreased by 14,5%. Based on the results of the thesis, the following proposals are made: • a larger cabinet in the incoming section should be tried out for better cooling; • the fan should be moved from the side of the second section to the side of the first section, as higher temperatures were reached in the first section; • another ventilation opening should be added to the unit to improve air circulation; • tests should be carried out by experimenting with circuit breakers from other manufacturers.
