Kvaliteedikontrolli süsteemi loomine ettevõttes Thermory AS

Abstract

Lõputöös keskenduti kvaliteedikontrolli protsessi ja seda toetava kvaliteedikontrolli rakenduse loomisele ning rakendusega teostatud kvaliteedikontrollide tulemuste analüüsile. Lõputöö rakenduslik väärtus seisneb töö autori poolsetest antud praktilistest juhistest ja soovitustest, mis põhinevad rohkem kui 130 teostatud kontrolli kogemustel. Tulemuste analüüsist jõutakse järeldusele, et otsest murekohta täna ei ole, aga on mitmeid parendusvõimalusi. Lõputöö esimeses peatükis tutvustati kvaliteedi ja kvaliteedikorralduse üleüldist olemust, tuues välja vajalikkuse pideva analüüsi ja parenduse järele. Teises peatükis tutvustati ettevõtet, kus käesolev lõputöö teostati ning saadakse läbi intervjuu ettevõtte kvaliteedijuhiga teada ettevõtte kvaliteedikorraldusest. Töö kolmandas peatükis tutvustatakse, kuidas tekkis lõputöö idee ning selgitatakse üksikasjalikult, kuidas loodi kontrolloperatsioonide teostamiseks kvaliteedirakendus ning millised analüüsivõimalused sellega kaasnevad. Neljandas peatükis teostab autor põhjaliku ülevaate teostatud kontrolloperatsioonide tulemustest masinate, defektide, puuliikide, tsehhide ja sortide lõikes ning selgitab esinenud probleemide juurpõhjuseid. Viimases peatükis annab töö autor ettevõttele kvaliteedikontrollisüsteemi ja selleks loodud rakenduse osas parendusettepanekuid lähtudes enda poolsest rakenduse kasutamise kogemusest. Lõputöö eesmärk said täidetud. Ettevõttes Thermory AS on täna kahes erinevas tehases kasutusel toimiv kvaliteedikontrolli rakendus, mille abil on võimalik välja selgitada suurimad sorteerimisvead tootmises. Analüüside tulemused on edastatud organisatsioonile, mille abi võib kasutada edaspidistel otsuste langetamisel. Ettevõttele on edastatud ka autori poolt tehtud parendusettepanekud kvaliteedikontrolli protsessi ja kvaliteedikontrollideks loodud rakenduse parendamiseks. Tulevikus võiks ettevõte teha täiendavaid uuringuid suurema valimisuurusega, et saada põhjalik ülevaade erinevate puuliikide või masinate kohta. Samuti uurida, kas investeerimine automatiseeritud sorteerimisliinile tasuks ennast ära. The topic of the thesis, Creation of a Quality Control System in The Company Thermory AS emerged from the need of the company to identify biggest defects in a thermal wood production. This thesis was conducted in Thermory AS Loo plant from February 2023 til April 2024. The purpose of this graduation thesis is to create a working quality control system with a supportive application, that enables the organization to identify material defects and as another goal is to analyze the results of completed quality controls. In this thesis, the author has used mixed methodology. The quantitative method identifies the most common problems and their root causes from the quality control results using distributions and averages. Using qualitative methodology, the author of the thesis performs the analysis of the results of the quality control and, if necessary, makes improvement proposals for the problems encountered. The thesis consists of three chapters with subsections. The quality and quality management chapter provides an overview of quality in general, talks about two theories of quality management and the quality management standard used in the company. The chapter of the company consists of a brief description of the company where this thesis was carried out, the nature of thermal wood and thermal process, and in the sub-chapter of the company’s quality management, the author has conducted an interview with the company’s quality manager. The third chapter consists of a description of the quality control process, the creation of a supporting application and the possibility of analyzing the data obtained from the application. Also in the third chapter, the author of this thesis analyzes data on various parameters such as tree species, the most common problems, workshops, machines and different sorts, author also makes suggestions to the organization on how to improve the quality control process and the application created for control operations. The objectives of the thesis were fulfilled. The company Thermory AS has a quality control application in use in two different factories, with the help of which it is possible to find out the biggest sorting errors and material defects in production. The results of the analysis have been forwarded to the organization, whose help can be used in future decisionmaking. Improvement proposals made by the author to improve the quality control process and the application created for quality controls have also been forwarded to the company. In the future, the company could do further research with a larger sample size to get a comprehensive overview of different tree species or machines. Also to investigate whether investing in an automated sorting line would pay off.
