Nõmme eluringi asum

Käesoleva lõputöö fookus on suunatud Nõmme lastekodu laste igapäevaelu ja Nõmme eakate sotsialiseerumise parandamisele. Valitud asukoht on Nõmme keskuses asuv Nõmme lastekodu ja turvakeskus, mis on hetkel kasutusel. Lõputöö eesmärk on leida võimalusi parendavate lahenduste pakkumiseks Nõmme lastekodu elanikele ja Nõmme eakatele. Lõputöö uurimisvaldkond paikneb Põhja-Eestis, Nõmme linnaosas, Vana-Pärnu maantee ääres asuval Nõmme lastekodu kinnistul, mis asub Nõmme keskuse lähedal. Eesti elanikkonna vananemine on olnud järjepidev protsess viimastel aastakümnetel ning see trend jätkub ka tulevikus. Samuti on Eesti lastekodu süsteemi kritiseeritud selle eest, et see ei vasta tänapäevastele standarditele ning ei paku lastekodulastele piisavalt võimalusi hariduse omandamiseks ja iseseisvaks eluks valmistumiseks. Lõputöö eesmärk on leida optimaalne lahendus, mis soodustaks eakate ja lastekodu laste paremat suhtlemist ja integreerumist. Selleks on uuritud erinevaid arhitektuurilisi lahendusi ja funktsioone, mis vastaksid sihtgruppide vajadustele ning toetaksid kogukonna omavahelist suhtlust ja koostööd. Projekti käigus on arvestatud Nõmme piirkonna arhitektuurilist stiili ja lähedal asuvaid olulisi hooneid, et luua keskus, mis parandaks eakate ja lastekodu laste elukvaliteeti ning pakuks lisaväärtust kogukonnale. Projekti eesmärgiks on luua hoonekompleks, mis integreerib asenduskodude ja eakate päevakeskuse funktsioonid ning võimaldab erinevaid huvitegevusi ja aiandusprojekte. Kompleksis on kavandatud hooned, mis võimaldavad asukatel sotsialiseeruda, osaleda erinevates tegevustes ja arendada oma oskusi. Lisaks on planeeritud turuhoone, kus saab müüa kohalikke toidu- ja käsitöökaupu ning toetada kohalikku majandust. Hoonekompleks on mõeldud looma integreeritud kogukonda, mis toetab elanike omavahelist suhtlust ja koostööd ning on visuaalselt atraktiivne ning harmooniline.

The focus of this thesis is aimed at improving the daily lives of children in Nõmme Children's Home and enhancing socialization for the elderly in Nõmme. The chosen location is the Nõmme Children's Home and Care Center, which is currently in use and situated in the center of Nõmme. The aim of the thesis is to find opportunities for providing improvement solutions for the residents of Nõmme Children's Home and the elderly in Nõmme. The research area of the thesis is located in the northern part of Estonia, in the Nõmme district, along Vana-Pärnu maantee, near the center of Nõmme. The aging of the Estonian population has been a consistent process in recent decades, and this trend will continue in the future. Additionally, the Estonian orphanage system has been criticized for not meeting modern standards and not providing sufficient opportunities for children in foster care to acquire education and prepare for independent living. The objective of the thesis is to find an optimal solution that promotes better communication and integration between the elderly and children in the children's home. To achieve this, various architectural solutions and features have been examined, which meet the needs of the target groups and support mutual communication and cooperation within the community. The project takes into account the architectural style of the Nõmme region and nearby important buildings, aiming to create a center that improves the quality of life for the elderly and children in the children's home while providing added value to the community. The project aims to create a building complex that integrates the functions of the foster homes and the elderly day center, allowing for various recreational activities and gardening projects. The designed buildings in the complex enable residents to socialize, participate in different activities, and develop their skills. Additionally, a market building is planned where local food and handicraft products can be sold, supporting the local economy. The building complex is intended to create an integrated community that supports interpersonal communication and cooperation among residents while being visually appealing and harmonious.
