| dc.description.abstract | Käesoleva diplomitöö eesmärgiks oli leida sobiv ja kasutajasõbralik lahendus Tallinna sadama alal, uue reisiterminali näol. Töö aluseks on võetud kehtivad detailplaneeringud kui ka linnaliikluse tulevikuvisioonid. Lisaks on võetud aluseks tallinna sadama poolt koostatud kasutajakogemuse ja jalakäijate uuring. Kasutatud on erinevaid detailplaneeringuid, uuringuid, erialast kirjandust ja töö koostaja kogemust koos töö juhendaja soovitustega. Käesoleva projektiga on Tallinna Sadama endiste A, B ja D terminalide asemele projekteeritud üks ühine reisiterminal. Asukoha valikul said määravaks asukoha spetsiifilised ühendused hoonega, seda eelkõige logistilises ja tehnilises mõistes. Samas mängis suurt rolli ka hoone funktsioon ja vaadeldavus nii linnalt kui merelt. Uus terminalihoone koos admiraliteediäärse promenaadiga, loob uue Tallinna merevärava ja ühendab selle linnakeskkonaga. Hoone on planeeritud lähtudes kasutajale mugavatest lahendustest ning reisisadama nõudmistest. Lõputöö kirjutamise käigus omandas autor teadmisi sadama ja reisiterminalide erinevatest vajadustest ja lahendustest Ruumid on avara planeeringuga ja valgusküllased. Liikumine kahe terminalihoone vahel toimub läbi ühendussilla, mis on rajatud üle admiraliteedibasseini. Uus hoone lahendus on funktsioonitruu ning võimaldab luua paremat avalikku- ja töökeskkonda. | et |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this thesis was to find a suitable and consumerfriendly solution to the port area of Tallinn. The thesis mainly consentrates on the new passenger terminal, as a innovative solution. The basis of this thesis are the valid master plans and also the future perspectives of the city traffic system. In addition the user experience surveys and pedestrian surveys composed by the port of Tallinn, are also used in this thesis. Various major plans, surveys, professional literature and the authors work together with the consultants’ recommendations. According to this project the former Port A, B, and D terminal are replaced with one new passenger terminal. Location-specific logistical and technical concepts were the determining factor in choosing the building site. At the same time the the function of the building and its observability by the city and the sea played a major role. The new terminal building with the admiralty side promenade, creates a new sea gate, and connects with the urban landscape. The building is planned on the basis of the user's convenient travel solutions and port requirements. During the thesis writing process, the author acquired knowledge of the port terminals and different needs and solutions of travel. Rooms are spacious and bright. Moving between the two terminals is through the connection of the bridge, which is built over the Admiralty pool. The new building conseption is true to it’s function, and allows to create a better working – and public environment. | en |
