| dc.description.abstract | Ettevõtete jaoks on aina olulisem muuta enda tootmisprotsesse efektiivsemaks, et säilitada enda konkurentsieelis. Kõige lihtsam viis tootmisprotsesside efektiivsemaks muutmiseks on eemaldada väärtust mitte lisavad tegevused. Selleks saab kasutusele võtta erinevaid kulusäästliku juhtimise meetodeid. Lõputöö eesmärk oli leida lahendus töökohtade paremaks korraldamiseks. Uuritava ettevõtte probleemiks on töökohtade korrastamatusest tingitud üleliigsed kulutused, mida põhjustab tekkiv ajakadu. Autor viis lõputöö käigus läbi kaks uuringud- vaatluse ja küsitluse. Nende andmete analüüsi käigus sai ta võrrelda kahe uuringu tulemusi. Küsitlusele vastasid uuritava montaaži töötajad ja selle kaudu sai autor teada, mida nemad hetke olukorrast arvavad. Vaatluse viis autor läbi selleks, et näha tegelikku olukorda ja kaardistada see ära. Küsitluse käigus selgus, et töötajate arvates ei ole töökohtade korrastamatus probleem kuna nende arvates on enamus asjadel koht olemas. Autori läbi viidud vaatluse käigus selgus, et tegelikult on töökohtade korrastamatus seal väga suureks probleemiks. Lisaks sellele, et see põhjustab ajakadu, on probleemiks ka tööohutus. Vaatluse käigus nägi autor mitut ohtlikku olukorda. Töökohtade korrastamiseks valis autor 5S meetodi. Valituks osutus 5S meetod kuna selle kasutusele võtmine ei nõua suuri rahalisi kulutusi ning juurutamise protsessi saavad montaaži töötajad ise kaasa aidata. See motiveerib töötajaid töökohtasid korras hoidma ka peale juurutamise protsessi. 5S meetod aitab uuritava montaaži osakonna töötajate tööprotsessi efektiivsemaks muuta, toodete kvaliteeti parandada, tööohutust parandada ja kulutusi vähendada. | et |
| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays it is increasingly important for companies to improve production process efficiency to maintain a competitive advantage. The easiest way to achieve higher efficiency is to remove waste and non-value adding actions within a production process. This can be achieved by implementing different cost-effective management systems. The aim of this thesis was to find a better solution to organise workstations. The main problem of the examined company was excessive production time caused by untidy workstations and lack of organisation, which in turn results in unwanted financial cost for the company. During the dissertation, the author conducted two studies - an observation and an inquiry. From these data analyses, the author was able to compare the results of these two studies. The survey was conducted among assembly department workers and the author learned what they thought of the situation. The observation was conducted by the author to see and map out the real situation in the assembly department. The survey revealed that workers didn’t see a problem with untidy workplaces, because they claimed that most tools have a designated place. But the observation revealed that the shortcomings of workstations and lack of organisation are a major problem causing loss in time and posing a risk to workplace safety. During the observation the author witnessed multiple dangerous situations firsthand. To better the organisation of workplaces the author chose to implement the 5S workplace organisation method. 5S was chosen because the implementation process doesn’t require a substantial financial spending and the assembly workers can help with the implementation process. Involvement of the assembly department employees also helps to motivate the workers to maintain workstation organisation even after the implementation process has ended. The implementation process would use 5S phases (sort, set in order, shine, standardise, sustain) to make workstations in assembly department an organised system so that every tool has a labelled place and workstations would only be used to store tools and equipment that is currently used in the assembly process. The implementation of the 5S organization method helps workers of the assembly department to improve their working conditions and in turn boost process efficiency and product quality, improve workplace safety and lower costs. | en |
