Põltsamaa Ujula ja Noortekeskus

Käesoleva arhitektuurse projekti raames projekteeriti Põltsamaa linna, Põltsamaa Jõe äärde ujula ja noortekeskus. Eesmärgiks seisnes Põltsamaa Jõe äärse elu atraktiivsemaks muutmist kõigile linnakodanikele ja turistidele ning ala ühendumist ümbritseva piirkonnaga. Autori ideeks oli võtta väärtuslik, kuid vähekasutatud pargi- ja rannaala ning ühendada Põltsamaa Roosisaarega kagu poolt, ning pargiala kirde ja loode poolt. Asukoha valik pakkus linna suhtes keskset positsiooni, olles ka olemasolevate koolimajade vahetus läheduses, et kooliõpilased saaksid osaleda ujumistundides ja -trennides.

Within this arhcitectural project, a swimming pool and a youth centre were designed to the small town of Põltsamaa, by the Põltsamaa River. The aim was to bring more attraction to the life by the Põltsamaa River for all citizens and tourists and to connect the area to the surroundings. The author’s idea was to take a valuable but underused park, beach area and connect it with Põltsamaa Rose Island from the southeast side and with the park area from the northwest and northeast side. The location spot provided a centered position in terms on the city, also being in close proximity with the excisting school buildings, so that the school students are able to participate in swimming lessons and training.
