Võru kogukonnakeskus

Käesolev projekt on Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkooli arhitektuuriinstituudi rakendusarhitektuuri eriala diplomitöö, mille ülesandeks on Võru linna kogukonnakeskuse rajamine. Projekti eesmärgiks oli luua hea energiaga keskkond, millest tunnevad rõõmu kõik ühiskonnagrupid ning ühtlasi tekitada noortes kohakiindumus, et nad peale õpinguid Võrumaale naaseksid. Väljapakutud lahendus aitab hoida Võru linna elavana ning loodud keskkond on avatud ja rahvast ühendav. Projekt rikastab Võru linnaelu, lisab tegevusi vabaaja veetmiseks ja kaasab inimesi igast vanuserühmast. Lõputöö lahendus koosneb katusega väikesest müügialast ja kogukonnahoonest kuhu kuuluvad: restoran, kogukonnaala, kunstigalerii, raamatukogu ja loomeala. Võru kogukonnakeskusele on lahendatud nii sise- kui ka välialad. Hoone projekteerimisel on arvesse võetud ümbritsevate hoonete kõrgusi kui ka linnaehituslikult esinevat aedlinliku struktuuri, et sobituda ümbrusega. Hoonel on kolm korrust ning astmeline katus kus kogukonna inimesed saavad ühiselt aega veeta. Projekteeritava hoone kujundamisel on maksimaalselt kaasatud loodust, tuues rohelisse linna veelgi rohelust ning aidates hoida looduskeskkonda. Hoone projekteerimisega on loodud linnaruumi uus ökosüsteem.

The current project is a thesis of Tallinn University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Architecture speciality. The aim of this thesis was to plan a new Community Centre for Võru which is a small town located in southeast Estonia. The main objective of this project was to create a new environment with good energy that could bring joy to all social groups while creating a place attachment for young people, to motivate them to return to Võru after graduating their university studies. The provided solution helps to keep Võru lively as the created space is open and connecting. The project enriches the city life in Võru, providing a variety of activities to spend spare time and engages people from different age groups. Võru Community Centre consists of a market building and a community building which includes a restaurant, a community area, an art gallery, a library and a creative space. The project for the Community Centre offers solutions for both indoor and outdoor areas. The heights of surrounding buildings and urban development of Võru were taken into account while designing the Community Centre building. The Community Centre has three floors and a gradual roof so that people can spend time together on the rooftop. The project incorporates a lot of flora with the focus of bringing even more greenery to the city and helping preserve the natural environment. The project has created a new ecosystem for the city.
