Protsessi digitaliseerimise mõju keskkonnale Inter Cars Pärnu näitel

Kliimamuutuste mõju maakerale ja inimestele on juba praegu problemaatiline ning võib tulevikus põhjustada veelgi enam probleeme. Keskmine temperatuur ja ilmastikunähtuste nagu näiteks tormide sagedus on kasvanud ning see mõjutab inimesi üle kogu maailma. Seetõttu on oluline probleemidega silmitsi seista ning nendele lahendusi leida juba täna. Alates tööstusrevolutsiooni algusest on inimtegevusel olnud suur roll kliimamuutuste mõjutamisel. Sinna hulka kuulub suurel määral ka ettevõtlus ning ettevõtted on järjest enam kohustatud läbi viima muudatusi oma tööprotsessides keskkonna säilimise hüvanguks. Lõputöö eesmärgiks oli anda ülevaade, kuidas oleks ettevõttel võimalik ühe tööprotsessi digitaliseerimise kaudu vähendada oma süsinikjalajälge ja säästa keskkonda ning välja selgitada ettevõtte töötajate valmidustase üleminekuks praeguselt tööprotsessilt digitaliseeritud protsessi suunas. Uurimuse eesmärgist lähtudes formuleeriti kaks uurimisküsimust ning püstitatud küsimustele leidis autor vastused. Eesmärkide saavutamiseks teostas esiteks autor arvutuskäigu ning näitas selle kaudu kuidas oleks ettevõttel võimalik keskkonda säästa kui ühte olemasolevat tööprotsessi uuendada ja digitaliseerida. Järgmisena viis autor läbi küsitluse ettevõtte töötajate seas, et teada saada nende seisukoht üleminekuks uuele digitaliseeritud tööprotsessile. Autor analüüsis küsitluse tulemusi ning tõi analüüsitud andmed välja joonistena. Uurimuse käigus selgus, et olulisi erinevusi töötajate hinnangute vahel ei ilmnenud, seega võib autor järeldada, et ettevõtte töötajad on suuresti ühel meelel ning valmis üleminekuks uuendatud tööprotsessile. Veel leidis autor lõputöö tulemusena, et analüüsitud tööprotsessi oleks mõistlik igal juhul uuendada ja digitaliseerida, sest selle tulemusena on võimalik ettevõttel keskkonda säästa ning liikuda jätkusuutliku arengu suunas, mis on tulevikku silmas pidades olulise tähtsusega ettevõtte konkurentsivõimekuse säilitamisel. Kokkuvõtvalt võib väita, et lõputöö täitis oma eesmärki, sest töös näitena välja toodud arvutuskäik andis ülevaate ühest võimalikust viisist ettevõttel liikuda keskkonna parema säilitamise suunas. Samuti suhtuvad ettevõtte töötajad muudatuste läbiviimisesse positiivselt.

The following thesis Impacts of the process digitalization on the environment on the example of Inter Cars Pärnu is written by Henri Hanson. The effects of climate change on the planet and on people are already problematic and may cause even more problems in the future. Average temperatures and the frequency of weather phenomenon such as storms have increased, and it affects people all over the world. Therefore, it is important to face the problems and find solutions right away. Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, human activity has had a major impact on climate change. To a large extent, it also includes entrepreneurship and companies are increasingly required to make changes to their work processes for the benefit of the environment. The purpose of this thesis was to provide an overview of how a company could reduce its carbon footprint and save the environment by digitalizing its work process and to find out willingness of the company’s employees to move from the current work process to a digital process. Based on the aim of the research, two research questions were formulated and the questions were answered in this thesis. To achieve the goals, the author first carried out a calculation process and showed how the company could save the environment by upgrading and digitalizing one of its existing work processes. After that the author carried out a survey among the company's employees to find out their opinion on switching to a new digital work process. The author analyzed the results of the survey and presented the analyzed data as figures. The study revealed that there were no significant differences between the employees' evaluations. Therefore, the author can conclude that the company's employees are mostly in agreement and ready to move to a renewed work process. As a result of the thesis, the author also found that it would be certainly sensible to update and digitalize the analyzed work process. By doing that, the company can save the environment and move towards to sustainable development, which is important for maintaining the company's competitiveness for the future. 28 In conclusion, it can be said that the thesis carried out its purpose, because the calculation procedure presented as an example, gave an overview of one possible way for the company to move towards better preservation of the environment. Also, the company's employees are positive about making changes.
